James Bradford

James Tharin Bradford is an American historian and Associate Professor of History at Berklee College of Music in Boston. His scholarship focuses on 20th-century Afghanistan, opium, governance, and U.S. drug diplomacy, and he is best known for his 2019 book Poppies, Politics, and Power: Afghanistan and the Global History of Drugs and Diplomacy.
