James A. Momoh

Professor James Adeche Momoh is a Nigerian-born electrical engineer and academic who served as a Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Howard University in Washington, USA.[1][2] He is recognized for his work in electric grid optimization techniques and the implementation of advanced technology and policy for emerging electric grids in Africa.[5] Momoh has held various leadership positions including former chair of Howard University's Department of Electrical Engineering and has received numerous awards including the White House Presidential Young Investigator award in 1987.[1]
