Jacques Maritain
Jacques Maritain was a French Catholic philosopher and one of the leading exponents of Thomism in the 20th century. His work spans metaphysics, ethics, political theory, and aesthetics, and he was influential in the development of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. He taught at several institutions, including the University of Chicago and Princeton University.
