Jacques Guicharnaud

Jacques Guicharnaud (1924–2005) was a French author and retired Yale University professor known for his scholarly works on French literature, particularly seventeenth-century drama. He authored notable books such as 'Seventeenth-Century French Drama' and contributed significantly to the academic understanding of French theatre from Giraudoux to Genet.
