Jacques Derrida

Jacques Derrida was a French philosopher best known for developing deconstruction, a method of critical analysis applied to literature, philosophy, and law. He was born in Algeria and later taught at the École Normale Supérieure and the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales in Paris, becoming one of the most influential thinkers of the late 20th century.
