Jacquelyn Mitchard is a New York Times bestselling American author and journalist, renowned for her debut novel 'The Deep End of the Ocean,' which was the inaugural selection for Oprah's Book Club. She has written over 25 novels for adults and teenagers, including 'Twelve Times Blessed' and 'The Breakdown Lane,' and currently serves as a professor of creative writing at the Vermont College of Fine Arts.
