Jacqueline Ogburn

Jacqueline K. Ogburn is a North Carolina native who graduated from the University of North Carolina with degrees in English and philosophy, then worked in New York publishing for a decade as an editor at houses including William Morrow, Lothrop Lee & Shepard, and Dial Books for Young Readers.[1][2][6] She later returned to Durham, North Carolina, where she raised her children, authored several picture books such as The Bake Shop Ghost and A Dignity of Dragons, and served as president of the board of Carolina Wren Press.[1][3][5][8]
