Jack Welch

Jack Welch was an American business executive who served as chairman and CEO of General Electric from 1981 to 2001, transforming the company from a $14 billion national corporation into a $600 billion global powerhouse. Known for his aggressive management style and performance-based strategies, he was named "Manager of the Century" by Fortune magazine in 1999. After retiring from GE, Welch authored several bestselling business books and founded the Jack Welch Management Institute.
