Jack London
Jack London (1876-1916) was an American author, journalist, and social activist, best known for his novels of adventure such as The Call of the Wild, White Fang, and The Sea-Wolf. Born into poverty in San Francisco, he drew from his experiences as a sailor, gold prospector, and war correspondent to explore themes of survival, nature, and socialism. His works remain classics of American literature.
