Jack Knox

Jack Knox is a long-time humour columnist with the Victoria Times Colonist, where he has worked since 1988 in various roles including copy editor, city editor, and editorial page editor. He is the author of four bestselling books based on his columns, including Hard Knox: Musings from the Edge of Canada and Opportunity Knox: Twenty Years of Award-Losing Humour Writing, two of which were nominated for the Leacock Medal for Humour. Known for his witty takes on Canadian life, his career highlights include interviewing a nude porn star, being sprayed by orca whale Luna, and receiving a call from Barack Obama before the 2008 election.
