Jack Bennett

Jack Bennett was the pen name of John Baillie Bennett, a South African journalist and author born in Port Elizabeth in 1934. He began his career in journalism before publishing his first novel, Jamie, in 1963, and later wrote fiction often centered on political and social change in Africa. He died in 2000.
