Jack A. Smith

Jack A. Smith (1916–1996) was a Los Angeles journalist, author, and newspaper columnist known for his witty and urbane columns about the city and its people. He wrote 10 books, many based on his columns, and was awarded the Society of Professional Journalists' Distinguished Journalist award in 1981.
