J Rooney

James Patrick Rooney is a first-time author born in the Bronx, New York, and raised in Westchester County before relocating to Northern Palm Beach County, Florida. After a hockey-related injury at age nineteen left him a paraplegic, he pursued a thirty-year career in financial advisory with a major Wall Street firm before transitioning to writing. His debut novel, Sitting on a Rainbow, blends memoir, fiction, and fantasy to explore living with disability, financial advisory, and Irish history and mythology.
