J. Robert Lilly
J. Robert Lilly is a Regents Professor of Sociology/Criminology Emeritus at Northern Kentucky University, specializing in criminological theory, sex crimes, and the pattern of capital crimes committed by U.S. soldiers during World War II. He is the author of the 2007 book Taken by Force: Rape and American GIs in Europe in World War II, which examines rape by U.S. servicemen in the European theater of the war.
