J R Roberts

J.R. Roberts is the pseudonym of Robert J. Randisi, a prolific American author who wrote over 650 books across five decades, primarily in the western and detective genres. He created and authored nearly all entries in the long-running Gunsmith series featuring Clint Adams, along with series like Tracker, Angel Eyes, and Mountain Jack Pike. Randisi founded the Private Eye Writers of America and the Shamus Award, and co-founded Mystery Scene magazine and the Western Fictioneers.
