J R Moehringer

John Joseph Moehringer (born December 7, 1964), known by his pen name J.R. Moehringer, is an American journalist, memoirist, and biographical ghostwriter who won the Pulitzer Prize for Feature Writing in 2000.[1][2] He authored the bestselling memoir The Tender Bar (2005), the historical novel Sutton (2012), and ghostwrote memoirs including Shoe Dog by Phil Knight (2016) and Spare by Prince Harry (2023).[1][4] A former national correspondent for the Los Angeles Times, he also received the Livingston Award in 1997 and a Nieman Fellowship at Harvard.[1][2]
