J. David Spiceland

J. David Spiceland is Professor Emeritus in the Crews School of Accountancy at the University of Memphis, where he taught financial accounting at undergraduate, master's, and doctoral levels for 36 years. He received his BS degree in finance from the University of Memphis and is a co-author of widely used textbooks such as 'Financial Accounting' and 'Intermediate Accounting.' Born in 1949, he is recognized for his contributions to accounting education.
