Ivor Guest

Ivor Guest (1920–2018) was a distinguished British historian and writer, renowned for his extensive scholarly research on ballet from 1750 to 1900, which transformed the study of dance history. He served as the official historian to the Paris Opera Ballet and authored dozens of books on early ballet and ballerinas.
