Isaiah Christopher Thomas

Isaiah Thomas (1749–1831) was an American printer, newspaper publisher, journalist, and author who became one of the most influential figures in early American print culture. He published the Massachusetts Spy, helped publicize revolutionary events, and later founded the American Antiquarian Society.
