Irving Singer
Irving Singer (1925-2015) was an eminent philosopher and professor emeritus at MIT whose academic career spanned 65 years. He was the author of 21 books focusing on humanistic philosophy, including the magisterial three-volume work The Nature of Love, with works covering aesthetics, creativity, film, literature, music, and moral philosophy. His works were translated into multiple languages including Korean, Chinese, Japanese, and Spanish.
