Iris Johansen is a #1 New York Times bestselling author born in St. Louis, Missouri, who began her writing career in the early 1980s after leaving her job as an airline reservations agent. She is best known for her crime fiction and suspense novels, particularly her Eve Duncan forensic sculptor series which has sold over 20 million copies, and she has co-authored the Kendra Michaels investigator series with her son Roy Johansen.
