Irene Camerlink

Irene Camerlink is an Associate Professor at the Institute of Genetics and Animal Biotechnology of the Polish Academy of Sciences, specializing in animal behavior and welfare with a focus on the social behavior of pigs. She combines interdisciplinary research in animal and social sciences, epigenetics, and neuroscience, and has published over 80 works within 10 years of her career. Camerlink was awarded the UFAW Young Animal Welfare Scientist of the Year in 2020 for her exceptional contributions to improving pig welfare.
