Imre Szeman

Imre Szeman is a Canadian cultural theorist and professor of human geography at the University of Toronto Scarborough, where he serves as the inaugural Director of the Institute for Environment, Conservation, and Sustainability. Born in Canada in 1968 to Hungarian parents, he is renowned for pioneering the energy humanities, with extensive publications on energy, environment, globalization, popular culture, and postcolonial studies, and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada.[1][5][3]
