Ian Sommerville

Ian Sommerville (born 1951) is a British academic and computer scientist known for his influential textbook on software engineering. He served as a professor of software engineering at the University of St Andrews in Scotland until 2014 and is a prominent researcher in systems engineering and system dependability.
