Ian Scott Kilvert

Ian Stanley Scott-Kilvert OBE was a British editor and translator best known for his work with the British Council and for editing pamphlet essays on British writers. He also chaired the Byron Society and translated classical texts such as Plutarch and Polybius for the Penguin Classics series.
