Ian Ridpath
Ian Ridpath, born on 1 May 1947 in Ilford, Essex, England, is an English science writer, editor, broadcaster, and lecturer specializing in astronomy and space. Since 1972, he has worked full-time in these fields, authoring key works like the Oxford Dictionary of Astronomy, Norton's Star Atlas, and observing guides such as the Collins Stars & Planets Guide. A Fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society and recipient of the Klumpke-Roberts Award, he has significantly contributed to public understanding of astronomy.[1][2][4][5]
