Ian Patrick

Ian Patrick is a Scottish author who spent 27 years as a police officer in the Metropolitan Police, primarily as a detective in the Specialist Operations Command in London[1][2]. After retiring from policing, he became a full-time writer, publishing crime and thriller novels including the Sam Batford series (Rubicon, Stoned Love, Fools Gold) and standalone works like How the Wired Weep[2]. He is also an ambassador for Muscular Dystrophy Scotland[1].
