Ian Hutchby

Ian Hutchby is a consultant sociologist and former Professor of Sociology at the University of Leicester, England, known for his expertise in conversation analysis, media discourse, and childhood and family psychotherapy. He has authored several influential books including 'Confrontation Talk', 'Conversation Analysis', and 'Media Talk', and currently serves as an Honorary Professor of Sociology at the University of York.
