Howard Jarvis

Howard Jarvis was an American businessman, lobbyist, and political activist best known for leading the campaign behind California's Proposition 13 in 1978, which sharply limited property taxes. He became a prominent figure in the national tax revolt and remains closely associated with anti-tax activism in California.
