Howard Fast
Howard Fast was an American novelist and short-story writer known for prolific historical fiction and for works that often explored liberty, justice, and human rights. Born in New York City, he published his first novel while still young and later became widely known for "Spartacus" and other bestselling books; his political convictions also led to conflict with U.S. authorities during the 1950s.[3][5]
