Howard Brody

Howard A. Brody was an American bioethicist, family physician, and medical humanities scholar. He served as a professor of family medicine and philosophy, directed the Institute for the Medical Humanities at the University of Texas Medical Branch, and previously led ethics and humanities programs at Michigan State University. He wrote extensively on medical ethics, the physician-patient relationship, and the pharmaceutical industry.
