Hope Ryden

Hope Ryden (1929–2017) was an American author, documentary filmmaker, photographer, and naturalist best known for her work on wildlife, especially wild horses, coyotes, and beavers. She worked with Pan American Airways, then became the only female member of Robert Drew’s filmmaking organization, later producing documentary work and writing extensively to advocate for animal conservation.
