Hooper Dan
Daniel Wayne Hooper is an American cosmologist and particle physicist specializing in dark matter, cosmic rays, neutrino astrophysics, and the interface between particle physics and cosmology.[1][2] He is a professor of physics at the University of Wisconsin–Madison and director of the Wisconsin IceCube Particle Astrophysics Center (WIPAC), having previously worked at Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory and the University of Chicago.[1][2][7] Hooper has authored several books, including *Dark Cosmos* (2006), *Nature’s Blueprint* (2008), *At the Edge of Time* (2019), and *Particle Cosmology and Astrophysics* (2024).[1][7]
