Hong Kal

Hong Kal is an Associate Professor in the Department of Visual Art & Art History at York University, specializing in visual art and culture of East Asia. She is a recognized scholar and author, notably of 'Aesthetic Constructions of Korean Nationalism: Spectacle, Politics and History,' which examines Korean expositions under Japanese colonial rule.
