Holland Thompson
Holland McTyeire Thompson (July 30, 1873 – October 21, 1940) was an American historian and editor known for his writings on the New South. Born in Randolph County, North Carolina, he graduated from the University of North Carolina and later edited major multi-volume works including 'The Book of Knowledge' and 'The Book of Lands and People' [1][3][5].
