Hernando J Abaya

Hernando J. Abaya (1909-) was a prominent Filipino journalist and author known for his critical writings on Philippine politics and U.S.-Philippine relations. He authored influential books such as 'The Untold Philippine Story' (1967), which questions the nature of American-granted independence in 1946 and the socioeconomic control by the elite, and 'Betrayal in the Philippines.' His works also include memoirs and analyses of Philippine relations with China and Taiwan.
