Herman Parish
Herman S. Parish III (1953–2024) was an American children's author best known for continuing the Amelia Bedelia series created by his aunt Peggy Parish, starting with Good Driving, Amelia Bedelia in 1995. Born in Waco, Texas, he was raised on various Air Force bases in the U.S. and England, educated at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and served four years in the U.S. Navy before entering advertising.
