Herman J Loether

Herman J. Loether was an American sociologist and author best known for textbooks on statistics and social research, including works such as "Descriptive Statistics for Sociologists" and "Descriptive and Inferential Statistics: An Introduction." He also coauthored sociology and research methods texts used in college courses. He died on March 25, 2011.
