Herbert Whone

Herbert Whone (1925–2011) was a British musician, self-taught painter, photographer, author, and teacher. Born in Bingley, West Yorkshire, he later worked as a violinist with the Scottish National Orchestra and became known for documenting industrial Glasgow and writing on art and music.
