Henry M. Sayre
Henry M. Sayre (b. 1948) is a distinguished professor of art history emeritus at Oregon State University–Cascades Campus. He earned his Bachelor of Arts from Stanford University and his Ph.D. in American Literature from the University of Washington in 1976, with a focus on landscape artwork and art history. Sayre has authored nine books, co-edited another, and published extensively in national and international journals throughout his career in academia.
