Henry Loyd Copeland

Henry Loyd Copeland (1866-1941) was an American chemical engineer and educator who taught at Columbia University. He authored influential textbooks on chemical technology and industrial chemistry, playing a key role in the formal development of chemical engineering education. His works were widely used in the early 20th century to train a generation of engineers.
