Henry Laporte, known online as Salt Hank, is a TikTok star, celebrity chef, and content creator famous for his over-the-top, viral recipes featuring salted and seasoned foods like paleo bowls, smash burgers, and steak sandwiches.[2][3] He founded Salt Hank's sandwich shop in New York's West Village in 2024 after building a massive following on TikTok with over 2.7 million followers, and he authored the book 'Salt Hank: A Five Napkin Situation.'[1][3] Born and raised in Petaluma, California, he studied broadcast journalism at the University of Colorado Boulder and recently relocated to Venice, Los Angeles.[2][4]
