Henry Gregor Felsen
Henry Gregor Felsen was an American author born in Brooklyn, New York, best known for his young adult novels about teenagers, automobiles, and moral lessons on issues like reckless driving, drugs, sexism, and racism, with his 1950 bestseller Hot Rod selling millions of copies.[1][2][3] He published his first book Jungle Highway in 1942, served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II, and wrote around 60 books under his name and pseudonyms like Angus Vicker.[1][2][5] After living in Iowa for decades, he continued writing and traveling until his death in 1995.[5][7]
