Henry Bial

Henry Bial is a Professor of Theatre and Director of the School of the Arts at the University of Kansas, where he also serves as Associate Dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. He earned a B.A. in Folklore and Mythology from Harvard and a Ph.D. in Performance Studies from New York University (2001). He is an author and scholar known for works examining performance and Jewish identity in American entertainment.
