Helen Palmer
Helen Marion Palmer Geisel (1898–1967), known professionally as Helen Palmer, was an American children's book author, editor, actress, and screenwriter, best known as the wife of Dr. Seuss (Theodor Geisel), whom she married in 1927 after meeting at Oxford University. She wrote notable books including *Do You Know What I'm Going To Do Next Saturday?* (1963) and *A Fish Out of Water* (1961), worked as an editor for her husband's publications, and co-founded Beginner Books. Afflicted by illnesses including cancer for 13 years, she died by suicide in 1967 at age 69.[1][2][3]
