Helen A. Harrison
Helen A. Harrison is an American art historian, curator, author, and former New York Times art critic specializing in 20th-century American art, particularly Jackson Pollock and the Hamptons art scene. She directed the Pollock-Krasner House and Study Center in East Hampton, New York, from 1990 until her retirement in January 2024, after roles at the Parrish Art Museum, Guild Hall Museum, and as a curator and journalist. Her publications include *Hamptons Bohemia*, *Such Desperate Joy: Imagining Jackson Pollock*, and mystery novels set in the art world.[1][2][3][5][6][7]
