Heinrich Fries

Heinrich Fries (1911–1998) was a prominent German Catholic theologian and professor of fundamental and ecumenical theology at the University of Munich. He was a leading figure in the ecumenical movement, particularly within the Una Sancta movement, and dedicated his career to fostering unity among Christians. Fries is recognized as one of the most engaged Catholic theologians of the 20th century for his efforts to bridge scientific theology with traditional faith.
