Heidi Williams

Heidi Williams is a prominent economist specializing in the economics of innovation, science policy, and health care markets. She holds the Orville E. Dryfoos Professorship in Economics and Public Affairs at Dartmouth College, previously served on the faculty at MIT and Stanford, and earned her PhD in economics from Harvard in 2010. A recipient of the 2015 MacArthur 'Genius' Fellowship, she is lead editor of the Journal of Economic Perspectives and Director of Science Policy at the Institute for Progress.
