Heather Mac Donald

Heather Mac Donald is a conservative author, journalist, and fellow at the Manhattan Institute, where she serves as the Thomas W. Smith Fellow and contributing editor of City Journal. She is a New York Times bestselling author known for critiquing multiculturalism, feminism, policing, criminal justice, and diversity policies in works like The War on Cops and The Diversity Delusion. Educated at Yale, Cambridge, and Stanford Law, she has received awards including the 2005 Bradley Prize and the 2025 Edmund Burke Award.
