Heather Fawcett

Heather Fawcett is a New York Times, USA Today, and Sunday Times bestselling Canadian author of fantasy books for adults, kids, and teens, including the Emily Wilde series, Even the Darkest Stars, Ember and the Ice Dragons, and The Grace of Wild Things, many featuring dragons and translated into over twenty languages.[1][2][3] She holds a Master's degree in English Literature from the University of British Columbia and a Bachelor's in Archaeology from Simon Fraser University, and has worked as an archaeologist, photographer, technical writer, and backstage assistant.[2][7][10] Born in Vancouver, she now lives on Vancouver Island.[1][2][9]
